If your company is having a flow of money, you are more likely to get a raise because your boss is having a good run. But you must be in a place where you are contributing to the company’s success as it can improve your chances of getting a raise. If you are not putting in enough effort, you might not get a raise.
- Ask when you have your immediate supervisor in your corner
If you want a raise, you need to get your boss on your side. Let it be your immediate supervisor or your team leader. If they are satisfied with your work, praise you at your work and see a potential to do better, they can put in a good salary for you for a salary raise. But if you don’t have a good relationship with your immediate boss, it would be wise to wait for a time when things get smooth.
