Hello friends, I’m here to share a revelation with you all.
BLOGGING IS THE BEST BUSINESS EVER AND YOU SHOULD HAVE STARTED YESTERDAY.
If you haven’t started a blog yet don’t fret as blogging is still the best business to start and still full of opportunity.
The question is are you going to take advantage of it?
I strongly stand by the statements above and I will explain why, but first I want to explain what blogging is.
Blogging is a website that shares information on the world wide web.
This very website you are currently on is a blog and through my blog I share advice based off of my personal experiences.
Don’t let the phrase personal experience scare you. Advice based on personal experience is the best advice, assuming that the source is legit.
Don’t believe me?
As an example, would you rather get fast loss advice from a obese doctor or from someone who has lost 100 lbs and was on the TV show The Biggest Loser?
Would you rather get stock trading advice from a “financial expert” working on a 9-5 salary at a financial institution or would you rather get advice and mentor-ship from a self-made millionaire stock trader like Tim Sykes from timothysykes.com who has turned 12k into 5 million dollars in a few years and now has a handful of millionaire students under his belt?
Do you understand my point? If not I’ll spell it out for you, blogging is great for finding and sharing information.
Do you have any information that can be of value to society?
If so you should strongly consider starting your own blog, that is if you are opportunistic.
And by opportunistic I don’t mean doing anything possible for money even if it includes selling shady information.
I mean an honest exchange of providing life changing value to your readers and them monetarily thanking you.
Also, your content doesn’t even have to be all that practical to be a successful blogger.
Are you entertaining?
Is there any subject that you are very opinionated on?
All it takes to be successful in the blog game is having a voice, just be you and be authentic.
Why Blogging Is The Best Business Venture Ever
There are so many reasons why blogging is the best business to start, but let be real and not beat around the bush, blogging is an amazing way to build wealth and financial freedom through passive income.
Friends, blogging is the gold rush of today.
The best part about this gold rush is that it’s not over-saturated. You still have time to get in!
Only instead of a hard hat, hammer, and chisel you need some creative thinking and perseverance.
Most people are skeptical that you can make good money blogging.
They spew non-sense like “only 1 out of 15 people make decent money blogging” or “please don’t make me laugh, you can’t make money blogging, stop dreaming.”
Don’t listen to these no-getters.
The success rate for starting a blog is not far off from the success rate of any brick and mortar business, or achieving success in general.
SUCCESS IS HARD PERIOD.
That’s why there will always be 20 no-getters (those who only talk the talk) to every go-getter (those who walk the walk).
Which one are you, a go-getter or a no-getter?
It’s your choice whichever one you want to be in life, its just this very choice that will determine your faith.
Maybe what you need is some stronger inspiration, perhaps you need 6 reasons to become a go-getter and finally start blogging.
6 REASONS WHY BLOGGING IS THE BEST BUSINESS TO START
#1) Blogging has almost no overhead costs
I pay only $3.95 a month for hosting and paid $10 for my domain name.
You will inquire other small costs as your email subscribers and website traffic grow, but that’s something you will worry about when you already start making money.
Now compare that to renting physical property or franchising a subway for example, you would have to dish out tens of thousands of dollars in cash.
NO THANKS.
#2) The sky is the limit in terms of how much money you can make blogging
Don’t believe me?
I know plenty of bloggers who make way over 50k…A MONTH, yes 50k that wasn’t a typo.
The creators of Avocadu, a weight loss blog, make close to 90k a month.
Neil Patel, a blogger who mainly blogs about SEO (search engine optimization) makes about 350K a month.
You can look these people up, they provide legit financial statements.
Do you want to be next?
#3) You make passive income
When you become a successful blogger you will make money while you sleep.
There is no better feeling than waking up and realizing you sold your product 10 times while you were sleeping, trust me I know.
Not only will you make money when you sleep but you’ll make money around the clock.
Can you imagine the feeling of no longer having to trade your time and selling your soul for chump change?
Well you don’t have to imagine, just do it!
Do you even realize that by working your 9 to 5 you are selling your soul to the devil?
Time is your most precious asset and you are throwing away 40 hours of your time a week to company or people who really don’t give a shit about you!
With blogging you create a product and your product will make money forever, that’s how wealth is created my friend.
#4) You are free to travel the world
As a successful blogger you can make money while you are traveling, no joke.
The amount of money you make or can make is not tied to any location.
My best week ever (my first $1000 week) occurred while I was on this breathtakingly beautiful Caribbean island called Los Roques.
I make even more money when I travel, I get inspired and create better content.
#5) You are only responsible for you
This means no headaches. This means no stress. It’s just you and yourself on your journey to blogging success and maintaining success.
No employees you need to worry about.
No rude customers bitching in your face.
No more dealing with anyone! Well other than your readers.
The point is you and you only are responsible for your own success. No more running and using others as an excuse for your failures, now it’s just you and you have to earn it.
#6) You get to express your soul
Your blog is you expressing your soul as through words for the world to see. It’s ultimate freedom, who wouldn’t want to be a blogger?
Finally! Finally you can do what you’re deeply passionate about!
If you’re a car nut start a blog about cars. If you’re a nutrition nut start a blog about nutrition. Hell, if you’re a Pokemon nut start a blog about Pokemon.
The point is you can truly be you, and not only that but you can also inspire and connect with thousands even maybe even millions of other people with the same passions. Now that’s some true fulfillment!
Blogging can bring you the ultimate freedom.
What other business can allow you to be as free as blogging?
You write when you want, you write about what you want, you wake up when you want, you go where you want when you want, and you express what you want to express.
Now that is what some true congruence looks like.
You get to be the real you at every level possible, and get paid for it.
HOW TO START YOUR BLOG AND MAKE MONEY IN 6 STEPS
Okay, so now you understand why blogging is the best business on earth and you want to start a blog and be on your way to making money…but you don’t know how to start.
Don’t worry, I got you covered.
What I am going to tell you is exactly how all bloggers make their money.
This is how you will make your money, and guess what I’m going to give you a step by step outline.
#1) Brainstorm and figure out what topic you are passionate about.
You will never get bored of writing about your passion.
If you blog about your passion blogging will almost never be a chore.
You know what they say, do what you love and you’ll never work another day in your life.
If you aren’t passionate about something, find a passion! Become passionate about something.
#2) Buy your domain and get hosted by Bluehost
Bluehost is wildly known as the best hosting provider in the world. They provide the best value for hosting.
Click this link and sign up through me and instead of paying $7.99 a month you will only pay $3.95 a month.
You will also get to choose a domain name for FREE.
Affiliate Disclosure: Bluehost compensates me when you purchase through my link, so my services are free of charge to you! In fact, if you have any trouble at all setting up a blog with this tutorial click here and we will set it up for you!
Some of you might be wondering, why Bluehost if there are free hosting providers?
I warn you DO NOT GO THE FREE ROUTE. First off, if you use a free platform it will not look professional at all.
If you choose a free blogging platform, you are going to have a blog name in the form of yourname.wordpress.com or yourname.blogspot.com which is the sign of an inexperienced beginner and you probably won’t be taken seriously.
If you are a business owner, you don’t want this kind of reputation following you around.
With free platform you have very limited capabilities. You are going to have a limited amount bandwidth, memory space as well as video time, which will result in bad user experience.
Even if you somehow manage to grow a successful blog with a free platform, it will eventually start crashing your website because free platforms cant handle a large amount of traffic, that can really hurt your blog and business.
Also, the worst thing about free platforms is that it is not self-hosted like Bluehost.
That means that one day you might wake up with no blog at all. That is no lie, they can simply claim you are violating some policy and completely take down your blog.
Can you imagine working on your blog for months or even years and one day, all of a sudden, it’s all gone? Don’t risk everything just because you want to save $3.95 a month.
#3) Set up WordPress
Once you set up your hosting, you need to set up WordPress.
This is super important because it’s the program that has all the tools that you will need and use to create your articles and customize your website.
With Bluehost this is so easy to do.
Once your log into your Bluehost account you will see a section that says install WordPress, all you do is click that option and everything will be automatically integrated.
So easy a cave man can do it.
#4) Build your community
Write great content at least 3 times a week for 8 – 12 months, without expecting to make a dime.
This is phase where you will be collecting email subscribers and obtaining new readers and fans.
You are basically building a community with your amazing content.
#5) Sell your audience a couple products
This is when bloggers finally start to earn their money.
After 8 – 12 months, you should have a decent size following.
Once you have a decent amount of followers you can making money using affiliate marketing, creating your own product, or both.
Affiliated marketing: Selling someone else’s already established product by placing their link on your blog.
You can make anywhere between 5 – 20 percent of what the product or service cost, for every product or service you sell.
Example: You sell an $80 protein shake from Amazon. You make around $8 and Amazon collects the rest.
Your own product: You create a digital eBook or course and sell it on your blog.
You make 100% of what you sell your product for.
Example: You create a how to lose fat eBook and sell it on your site for $19.99. You collect $19.99 for every sale.
You have full control of your product, you can sell it for whatever price you want.
This is definitely the best way to make money blogging, hands down.
#6) Cruise control phase
Once you have many articles on your blog, have a couple products for sale, and are making a decent living with your blog, you can now go into cruise control mode if you choose to do so.
You can become almost 100% passive by writing 1 article a week.
Remember your content needs to always be great.
As long as you publish 1 AMAZING article every weak, you shouldn’t have any problems.
Side note: As you are writing your articles you should learn about SEO (search engine optimization), acquiring backlinks, how to use WordPress, and all you can about social media and how to market your blog on social media.
Don’t worry it is not as overwhelming as it seems, you can find tons of free content on google or ask me for help.
You don’t have to burn yourself out.
Remember, its going to take 8 – 12 months before you will be able to make a decent income, so be patient!
Now that you know how to start a blog that makes money remember this,
NEVER GIVE UP
Persistence is key. Persistence is what turns losers into winners.
Find your passion and make it your obsession.
All you need is one article to go viral, just one.
Your ability to keep going while feeling down will determine your success.
START RIGHT NOW
You read enough articles on how to do this and that and blah blah blah,it does not matter.
Be a doer!
You need to take action asap if you want to become successful. The successful bloggers are action takers, the mediocre are procrastinators.
Which one do you want to be?
Trust me it’s not as scary as it looks. You don’t need to tons of knowledge or a PhD before you start your blog.
The best way is to learn as you go.
That’s what all successful people have in common, they learn as they go. Learning through action is the best teacher on earth.
Michael Jordan learned basketball by playing basketball, not by reading books on top of books on how to play basketball.
SO TAKE ACTION AND START BLOGGING, ITS NEVER TO LATE.
